Choosing this weeks winner has been no easy task! After much looking & muttering under my breath, I have finally settled on a shot that caught my eye when it was posted. The winner is' Toady by Paul The original thread is here Footnote: due to the post explaining how POTW works on this forum not being present (it got lost in the big crash) there was a misunderstanding and Charlie believed as winner last week it was his job to pick this week. Flabbergasted!That's me. After losing my mojo for some time & getting a bit 'twitchy' yesterday to get out with the camera again, I saw this shot as daylight came in. I never for a moment thought it would make picture of the week. Thank you all for your comments. It gives me encouragement to go out & try to improve. Now, maybe you can advise me. Do I have to choose Pic of the week for next week?

Wise words indeed. I stopped chasing the holy grail of climbing the ladder some years ago. Went back to a more slow & simple way of life. I may not have as much money but I am very content these days.
