  1. Im glad to be back...I'll get sally on here too as shes getting me out every weekend .. I gotta post process her images(with her standing over my shoulder) as she cant do it yet.
  2. me and sally took a trip up the the brecon beacons nr carreg cennen castle
  3. its been a while since i been on here....i kind of gave up on life and withdrew into my self and became a hermit..didn't enjoy going going out with the camera so i stopped going out and put on even more weight .........life started to turn around when i decided to get my motorbike back on the road which was rotting in the shed ...a couple of hundred quid later i was out enjoying some long rides and starting to enjoy life again.....the thing that really turned my life around was meeting my girlfriend and its been a whirlwind since i met her.... I've lost weight and can now walk more than a hundred yards , I've moved in with her and her dog ..got engaged and everything seems to slot into place with us ..she loves taking photos but never had a proper camera so it was time for an upgrade for me so she could have my old one and as she's new to wales we're out every weekend with the cameras so i got a few months of trips to post and a trip to Scotland booked next month so you'll be seeing a lot more of me in the future

  7. Thank you... As for Shutter speed I only got a 10 stop nd filter so I'm stuck with whatever Shutter speed work with it
  8. Thank you very much.. Like I said the idea for this one happend by accident... I sat down on a picnic bench and put my tripod beside me and it was pointing at my friend and the dam... She wasn't central but the idea popped in my head to get her central and then the shouting and pointing started as I tried to direct where she was over the roar of the water but I got there in the end
  9. been trying to get a pic of the claerwen dam in the elan valley with water flowing over for years...about 15 visits only to find it no overflowing ... but finally caught it a few weeks ago and again last weekend the first pic was one of my happy accidents..sat down on a picnic bench and put my camera and tripod by the side of me and glanced at the screen to see my friend standing by the wall infront of the the dam and the idea was formed
  10. after i finished at amroth i decided to nip over to carew castle and managed to get one pic i was happy with

  12. Thank you....I was watching this cloud all afternoon in work and saw that there was no wind so I was so hoping it would kick off at sunset and get a reflection ....I called it right
  13. rushed to broad pool after work to catch an awesome sunset
  14. there is a small road near me ...a lifetime of memories and stories on a stretch of road about 3 miles long ..i get some pics done when i'm out on the ebike down there next
  15. took a trip down to cwm yr eglwys a few weeks ago and as i got there it started hammering down so last weekend i tried again ....and got a few nice pics
  16. had a week off work and decided to go on a cycle ride up the neath canal with my ex girlfriend and one my ex took of me

  18. had a week off so headed up to tintern abbey for a visit

  21. looking through the hard drive i spotted this pic from 2019 from my first ever visit to porthcawl in a storm ...love how the wave crashing over the pier looks like the head of a dragon ....did a b+w images as the wave stands out more
  22. It was just by the steps by the side of the pier down to the beach... It was a single story building from the steps backing into the cliff
  23. Ohhhhh I have been there hundreds of times... A few weeks ago there was a fire that burned down the old nightclub that I used to frequent on a regular basis in my twenties .... Lot of good memories at the pier... Shame cinderellas burnt down though
