  1. Like Lez with his Avocet shot I have broken the rules by not positioning the Pheasant running into shot, I did not want to cut off the tail.
  2. This is one instance when rules need to be broken to great effect... nice capture!
  3. This is a very strange Spring, looking around my garden there is absolutely no form of insect life to be found. I'm sure this is not normal, anyone else noticed similar.
  4. I like the light coming through the wings. Panasonic DMC- FZ2000.
  5. Amazing Capture... Well done! ...
  6. Great set Paul... No4 is my favourite!
  7. Very nice... good choice!...
  8. I took this shot last summer, following health issues I'm hoping to go out and get some new shots soon. Panasonic DMC-FZ2000.
  9. I like No4 as well... they are all good though!
  10. Due to some health issues I have not been going out much for quite a while, hopefully that will start to change soon. As it's Bluebell time I am posting these shots I took a few years ago when walking on the Malvern Hills.
  11. You have to love a Robin... Well I do anyway... Panasonic DMC-FZ2000.

    Glaucoma.

Have any of you ever had eye laser treatment for Glaucoma? If so how did you get on, I have to have this treatment soon.
  13. Gorgeous images of some lovely chicks! ... Well captured!...
  14. No... it was just a single shot! Thanks for commenting!
  15. Just scouting around and I found this great capture of a female Southern Hawker (Aeshna cyanea)... nice one Hatter! ...
  16. I took this shot some years ago at The International Birds of Prey Centre at Newent in Gloucestershire, I was hoping to go there again soon but unfortunately the centre closed on February 17th.
  17. Les... There are no better tasting tomatoes than Sungold, over many years I have grown different varieties but I have now settled on Sungold, I usually pick the first one between 7th & 15th July. The seed of those in my photo were sown in the middle of March, the good thing about growing cherry tomatoes is they don't have grow so big and mature much quicker.

    Oxalis.

    Thank you Cheryl.
  19. My tomatoes are doing well, they are Sungold cherry tomatoes which are yellow/orange in colour and extremely sweet. They will stay in my conservatory for a bit longer before I put them outside on the patio as usual when things warm up. It's still chilly at night and a frost is still possible. Panasonic DMC-TZ3.

Polly... I got the original plant when walking in Pembrokeshire years ago, I just dug a bit up using my swiss army knife as I had no other tools with me at the time. I had a plastic bag in my small rucksack so I put the plant in there with some damp moss as I wasn't going home for a couple more days. I planted it in the garden of my previous home and it survived and did well. When I moved to my present home I brought a bit with me, it soon spreads and I had to really reduce it last autumn and start again, what's left has just started flowering again.
