If you place a road kill on a fence post and just wait, you'll get them soon enough. Then you'll really see how massive their wingspan is.

Built for endurance.

Now this bird is a rarity in this neck of the woods. I saw many in Scotland, but they were rocketing across the front of the car at a rate of knots - just a flash as they passed.

Cheers Clicker,
Have you ever tried to lurk in a bright blue mobility scooter ?
I can take far less candid shots now….Also, I have a, child’s eye view of the world….quite a drastic shift.
FUJI.
Welcome to my world, Fooj. The one good thing is, I rarely get aching feet now - a numb bum on occasions, but that can be sorted with some memory foam.

A cracking image. I must get out to my local bird sanctuary - enough procrastination.

You can tell where the trap doors to the lofts are, just by looking for the melted snow on the roofs.
My life that must have been a real snow storm.

A good subject to practice action shots on. Lovely and sharp.

My first thoughts, are thank the Lord for Global warming, (never thought I would be saying that), followed by the bungalow must either be very cold inside or very well insulated, followed by Brrr!
Cracking image of days gone by.

Brilliant reflections in the water. I love it.

Glad to read of your upturn, Ryebear. Life can be a bit of a **** at times and it always takes a woman to sort things out.
My very best wishes for your future.

I've seen similar shots to this elsewhere.
It almost seems they are double exposure. Well done.

there are water fountains in the square infront of the town hall, the rest of the city is a **** hole
Thanks for the warning.

Are they deliberate fountains or water leaks in the first image and is the set to show the squalor of Bradford?

John, I may be speaking out of turn here - if I am, please don't take offence.
During one of the many heart attacks I've survived, I suffered cardiac arrest and did, in fact, die.
How do I know that? Well, I left my body. I was hovering by the ceiling watching the medics frantically working on me to get the body rescucitated. I watched my body jerk on a number of occasions as they tried to shock me back to life.
Obviously, they succeeded. The point is, I have proved to myself that when I do eventually die, I will leave my body. Now logic tells me If I leave a place, then I am going to arrive at a different place - where that place is, I have no idea.
What I can say is that it's going to be an interesting journey. In my mind, I categorically believe that Pam has shucked off this burdensome overcoat that we call life and moved on to a better place, free of the pain she was in.
While I understand your grief, please take comfort from the knowledge she is in a happier state/place/destination than she was here.

No. Hand held. I used my everyday telephoto lens at 300mm and very carefully overlapped the shots. Stitched together in post using ACR.
Thank you Apatchy, appreciated.
