  1. Thank you kate I see you are from Bath. My mother lived in Westbury for many years so I know Bath quite well, in fact it is one of my favourite cities (along with Exeter. Most towns and cities seem to have pretty much the same layout, not so Bath, with its small side streets full of interesting shops and buildings. Haven't been for a while as my mother passed away a few years ago. Great memories through.
  2. Hi Kablone bitof a mixed bag really, but I do like landscapes and woodland scenes. Thank you for your welcome.
  3. Yup it worked, thank you.
  4. Thank you, that will help a lot. It s not to bad on short posts, but anything longer I find it easier to type elsewhere. I guess I will find out when I press submit.

  6. Thanks to all of you that have extended the hand of friendship. You are right Crlicker predictive text can be handy but it also seems to have a mind of its own, the edit function will be handy. For the next few weeks I will be busy moving my workshop (woodworking ) to a larger space, so may be a little slow on my posts, but am looking forward to participating soon.

  9. I live in a small village below Haldon Forrest and about 5 miles from Exeter. It's a lovely part of the world, an a joy to have access to the moors and coasts that are all around us. Especially as I love photography. Came across this forum while doing some photography related research. Seems like a friendly place to have landed, look forward to your company.
