    C-47 Dakotas

In a folder on one of my drives, I found another folder of RAW files within..... Bonus! This resulted in me doing total re-edit A re-edit of a photo I took back in 2019 with my old camera. The airfield in Cambridgeshire was the venue for every available C47/DC3 flying to be together for the 75th anniversary of the Normandy landings on D-Day. Some 17 aircraft making the journey from the USA with at least another 17 from other countries as well as some UK based airframes.
  2. Thank you Geoff...I always get these birds mixed up !
  3. Yes, wiki says they are only very distantly related, and part of the Corcoracidae family and not Corvidae......apparently!
  4. It is Cheryl, the little bruiser of the Hedgerow, very territorial and defends his patch with gusto !
  5. Nothing special, just edited with Luminar 4 courtesy of Matt's nudge in the chatbox.....

But looking forward to seeing more of your photos and paintings when you do get going again, in the meantime rest up and relax good luck with photo book 4 !

  14. Yes Geoff, me too ...well twice, found this while filing away this years photos from the day to day storage drive into the new SSD archive, seemed apt to close the year with a bit of colour I hope you get out more next year, seems most of you from the North of the UK seemed to have been particularly hit with both weather and bloody covid
  15. As the Sun sets on this year I found this sunset photo from August. A lightroom edit with a snip of Topaz thrown in. Makes me long for the spring and an end to the endless grey skies. Happy New Year everyone.

    Old market?

A great photo Matt,Just intrigues me as to the location, so I had a google search of covered market halls in Devon. It appears to be the Pannier Market in Barnstaple. https://www.google.com/search?q=Barnstaple+Pannier+Market&client=firefox-b-d&sxsrf=AOaemvIMrHFyIGdvx7DFMAaoRHp7GOvGBA:1640952268272&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwi2pazI_431AhVFi1wKHbhvB_sQ_AUoAnoECAEQBA&biw=1598&bih=927&dpr=1#imgrc=kFGMfXEJ44aPoM
