In my boredom I'm still finding shots from years back that I haven't processed This from Lake Wanaka on the south island

Hello all.... My first post of a winter scene taken at the top of Wainstalls in Calderdale in Halifax, West Yorkshire.

Hi Gang Well with my new interest in the Forum, I decided to blow the dust off the Studio Set up, so spent a couple of hours taking some images for a CD we are recording this year for next Christmas. Elinchrom FX400's so quite old, but still in proportion for Digital Will have another go in the Morning to use some natural light to save time in Photoshop

I focused then called them!...

After the rain. Anniversary Bouquet. Six focus stacked images, stitched as a panorama. Bee on Lavender.

This was also taken from the same spot as 'The top of the World' upload.... ....but i moved the lens to the left and the light was incredible.

Not a lot to photogaph on such a dreich day but I just got back from my walk and was treated to this.

I di like the challenge of capturing 'into the light', (contre jour) scape shots but that's just a matter of sometimes right time of the day and good clouds!

Just when you think all the best stuff is in your past, your grandchildren come along and prove your wrong. This picture has captured an engaging warmth that makes the image a delight.

Amazing clarity, particularly the first two.

23 days from London to Lancs?? ....jeez you could have walked there and back in under that time!

My local place like this is Pendle Hill, the name "Pendle Hill" combines the words for hill from three different languages, so basically it's called Hill Hill Hill......

I've photographed a green spider and now this blue spider - I'll now be on the lookout for a red spider.

Thanks Vanguard, the first time I went up there was absolutely no where to park without contributing to the traffic chaos on what is a very narrow road that goes up over Pendle Hill. Luckily 30 minutes later I got these where the warm glow of the setting sun contrasted against the coll blue of the snow and mist.

I particularly like the different layers and tones in each of your images, good set.

......on my night sky photography . I shot this on 20th December 2020 but couldn't really see what I was doing and I was freezing cold. It was taken at 6 pm and before Saturn and Jupiter got to their closest position a few days later when the skies here were too cloudy to see anything . I can I think identify Jupiter and 4 moons ( of 79 that are known ) left to right, Callisto Ganymede, Europa and then the nearest to Jupiter Io .
