the editing challenge

Recommended Posts

Not sure if this has been done yet but a recent post of mine gave me the idea.

I post a photo for you to edit to improve. (i don't mean adding objects etc, just improve color or contrast. Make it hdr or so, b&W...)
The best edit will be chosen next week and the winner post the next photo to edit.

I will start here:

This is what the amazing.......WATERLOGUE ......iPad App can do......

I love it......it turns any de ent colour photo into a watercolor......lots of variations available too.

That's so much better than the Photoshop (so-called) 'Watercolour Filter', which is heavy-handed and unsubtle, to say the least. The iPad version looks like a genuine watercolour, especially the wet-on-wet look of the sky.

The WATERLOGUE App for iPad and iPhone is amazing, it really does what it says on the tin, if given a good Colour photograph to begin with.

One if my mates is a pro water colour artist, I thought he might be horrified when I showed him how it worked.....now he uses it to teach his students, not to cheat but how water Colours are constructed.
