I'm also in two minds about these, as you say the flash does show more detail especially in the dresses and the background is made even darker. It's also given a much more colourful appearance (more saturation?).

On the other hand I think I prefer the natural light one, simply because it's more natural, and maybe a boost in saturation would give it the extra bit of warmth that seems to be lacking.

 

Both good shots, but my preference would be a slightly tweaked #1

Thanks, Bugs and Chris.

I think I will try just a little more saturation on the first shot, as Bugs suggested, as that is the one that I personally like because it doesn't look so artificial.

 

Bugs, there were more that were so lifelike that they made me jump when I turned round and came face to face with them.  :blushing:  :hrhr:

I would definitely like another visit after seeing many more things to shoot.
