Hi Folks,

 

OK! OK! .......it is a Lone Tree, but a Leafy Warwickshire, Shakespaere Country Engish Oak....not that overdne, wind-blasted Yorkshire Hawthorn  :rolleyes:

 

A magnificent tree that I walk close by practically every day without really taking in its sheer stature and beauty.

 

 

Here, I have gone down the Korky way of post processing to give it a little OOMPH!

I've only just been able to respond to this as I've been away (Again? Yes, again!) for a few days and only had my mobi for company.

 

I love the image  - the house really does lend some scale to the oak and gives a great impression of its majesty. Good stuff!

 

Thanks for calling the PP after one of my alter egos - even though he's a cat!
