Canola Country.

I'm not a great fan of panoramas, but I do love to fiddle in PhotoShop. So here is the view if you got on my roof and had a look at the Canola crop. This is a stack of 12 images stitched together in PS. and very little else. Pity the sky is a bit bland but I just wanted to show you the view.  I never tire of it!

I don't think I'd ever tire of that view either, Brian. Our view is of the house across the street and the van parked in front of it. Oh well..............

Yes, but how else is Matron going to round up and return the escapees? The fact it's a second-hand Black Maria may simply be an indication that Laburnum Towers is falling on hard times. Perhaps if you all saved your pocket money and bought her a retired Routemaster she might give you privileges back for a night or two - it would certainly improve the view.

Good Pano Brian, I see you too find that multi shots one a wide area stitch well together,

Geoff

Yes Geoff, I too was amazed at the quality of the stitching in PS. The only way you could see the overlap was in the jagged edge, which of course was cropped off.

Thanks Korky, I must admit that almost without fail, I stand and gaze out of the window with my first cuppa and just look at the view and the birds at the bird bath. Wouldn't be dead for quids!

Oil seed rape? Very attractive view. :)

I don't know why, Chris, but I always think of it as margarine in its early stages. I really don't know what they do with it. I would love to go up in an aeroplane when the crop is in bloom. That would be something special.

We have some gorgeous yellow fields in May, crops of oil seed rape. Some people complain that it 'spoils' the nice green English countryside. I've never understood that opinion myself.
