I'm not too sure why you put this into the critique section, but I'll be really picky on the few bits that I think could be slightly improved upon.

 

Colour: It might be worth pushing the yellow saturation a little to bring out more of the yellow on the body, but watch out for the patches at the base of the wings since they look good.

 

Background: I'd be tempted to try removing the blob just above the tip of the dragonfly's abdomen to leave the top background emptier and not catch the eye as the blob does now

 

Composition: don't change a thing on position/angle etc.

 

Sharpness: Perhaps a little sharpening along the abdomen but avoid the hairs since they are already well defined and sharpening might make them look spiky

 

As I said, this is really being picky since it's a very good shot to start with.

Thanks Bugs... this is exactly the sort of feedback I was hoping for, we all need to know how we are doing from time to time, it's easy to just keep posting away thinking all our images are brill.
