Fathers day and the boys got me the gadget I was after:

For some reason I never got round to buying a tripod adapter for the iPhone 5 and as the 6 will be out soon I didn't want a dedicated one so did a bit of research online and this came out with good reviews. I like Goby stuff - I have a couple of their Gorilla Pods - so hinted to the wife that this would make an ideal gift..... rolleyes.gif

 

Took it for a spin this morning down the beach - dog needed a walk - and I'm happy to report it works like a dream.

 

It is small, neat, light, seems well made and holds the phone securely.  

I bunged it on my GorillaPod Hybrid which is a brilliant gadget (you know I love gadgets) and is perfect for something like the iPhone.

Took a couple of SlowShutter shots to give it a go

 

*Top Tip*

 

If you find you are getting a bit of camera shake when taking pictures with an iPhone plug your headphones in and use the + button to trigger the shutter.

Yep you heard that right all iPhones come with a cable release for free......how cool is that!
