I have been looking through my files and wondering if I will ever be able to afford another exotic wildlife holiday like the ones I took in Equador & Cuba, I'm no longer working which makes money tight. At least I have my photos to look at and maybe... just maybe I'll sqeeze in another one ot two trips to see wildlife in far away places before I'm too old. I'd love to go birding in Costa Rica and maybe a safari holiday in Africa... who knows.

I took this shot of a Black Agouti in a forest in Equador in February 2011.

John, when I was at the botanical gardens the other day I thought of you. The glass houses there represent all the different climates around the well, and when we was in the tropical rainforest the humidity and heat...PHEW! I loved it and wanted to live in there, Brian could not wait to get out.

Brian keeps on about going abroad again, but I just can't face the flights anymore. I hate flying, after our last holiday abroad I refused to fly ever again and that was way back in 2005. We have had holidays in France since but we have driven there.

Mind you, I think for a trip to Costa Rica I could put my fears aside lol.......though Cuba was always the one I wanted to go to.

Hope your dream of birding in Costa Rica comes true for you.
