Selective colouring you a fan or not

My jury's still out. I think it does work on the right picture - where a splash of one colour makes one of the elements stand out dramatically.

I like it, and it's really well edited, but I do prefer my own insect shots with lot's of colour in them.

Not in this instance for me. But in the right photo, it's fine to do - dependent on subject.

Although well done, this one doesn't work for me because the environment is so crucial to a wildlife picture.

Along with many other effects and filters I often think it used more 'because I can' rather than because it brings something to the image  (and sorry fuzzy, personally I don't think this time it has).

Its not that hard annie once you get the hang of layers and there are people on here that leave me standing with the editing expertise

Think I am with most opinions here, prefer colour and think it enhances the whole image with wildlife.

I like to see everything in full colour, that's the way my eyes see things... thank goodness!!!

I like it for certain pictures, I have one somewhere of the kids and I playing on the beach, all b&w except a bucket which is bright red.

there's a brilliant picture floating round the WWW of a young la with bright blue eyes "shushing" you, thats a stunning image.

 

 

as for yours.... not too sure think if it was a bluebottle or something brighter coloured it would work...

As you all know I do like selective color having experimented with it myself.
