Just love this one, Phil, magical, atmospheric shot, as already said, but also, for me, a beautiful reminder of an iconic place I can no longer visit.....h'mmm, perhaps I should make a list :D

Good one, even the vignetting adds to the atmosphere, I wonder, was it on purpose?

This is just a single run through HDR Efex.

Thanks everyone for the kind words.

Tourists? Road?

I'm afraid i did not see any of those when I visited in june 1977, I do vaguely remember being in a marquee all night  with a band called 'Hawkwind' I dont recall much else ;)

Ah, memories eh? I saw Hawkwind a few times earlier than 77, they were always good :) Sadly the name is now the exclusive property of one of the originals (Dave Brock) and you have to see Space Ritual.net (Nik Turner, Terry Ollis, Del Dettmar, Mick Slattery, and others, with guest appearances by Dave Anderson and Huw Lloyd-Langston) to get a flavour of the original band.
