star trails and light pollution

this is a star trails attempt in delaware which is full of light.  i have no clue what the camera settings were or how many shots, i'll look that up and edit the post later.

the dotted straight lies are from planes.  the big globs of neon yellow light are from fireflies.  the bird watching tower was lit over several frames by a surefire g2 tactical flashlight.  the glow on the horizon is from new jersey, which is separated from delaware by a large bay.

post processing was lightroom (edit synched all of the files at once to keep them the same) and later a photoshop action that stacked all of the images.

I like how much is going on rather than the more normal calming startrails with a serene landscape (like those as well) the movement in the grass is lovely and the planes passing over with the tower with the fireflies give an almost industrial edge to the sky. Must try this while the evenings are still earlyish.
