Ive been trawling back through old files and rediscovered this..........

The young lady began to sponaneously pose for me when she saw my camera....I double checked that it was OK to shoot a portrait or three, she just laughed and put on this pout.......I pushed the shutter.

This is a fairly tight crop because I wanted to emphasise her eyes ad that spectacular pout.

Best viewed LARGE.....Click on Pic:

I do meet sme wonderful people when I'm out and about.don't I ?

That's a cracking shot.

I always seem to get grizzly or scruffy old people when I go street shooting  :-(

Thank you for the kind comment folks.....

At my age,I think that I can approach pretty much anyone without causing alarm, suspicion or doubt.......as you get older most folk just don't notice you.....you become invisible. :-(

But just occasionally I hit real GOLD......this was one of those moments.....my subject was promoting a well known brand of make-up from a city centre stall. She had been bored, but, as soon as she spotted my ( decent) camera, she began to pull a whole range of ....model faces.......or to stand provocatively as a bit of a tease.

My good lady was highly amused, but was very surprised when my potential model okayed my serious request for a portrait shot.....this amazing pout was the result.

Street Photography doesn't need to be all mono and moody, or edgy......on such occassions as this.....CLOSE ENCOUNTERS ....are rewarded.
