GWR 0-6-2T 5643 was built in 1925. It spent its entire working life in and around South Wales, it was withdrawn from service in 1963 and moved Woodham's scrapyard in Barry. In 1986 it was bought by members of the Lakeside Railway Society, moving to Haverthwaite 3 years later.
