Just went out to bring my washing in off the line and spotted a Hoverfly enjoying the Begonia flowers. Did have a camera to hand so grabbed a couple. Got one of him in flight, but not perfect:
 

and then as I walked back to the door I saw a Damselfly:

Tried to get a closer one, but his eye would not focus, but nice to see anyway, first one I have seen here!

Some cracking shots there, Kobione.  Such detail with the damsel fly - pity about the OOF eye - maybe focus stacking next time ?

Great detail, Dierdre. It must have been good to see a damselfly in your new environment and of course, your old favourite, the hover flies.

Thanks Fogey & Cheryl - was pretty pleased even with what I got Fogey because the leaves were wobbling in the breeze, so it was grab it or not bother!
