Shropshire Steam Fair

We went to Shropshire steam fair some years back and I was taken at the age and social range of the participants.

That’s an interesting take making up this set Fogey ......it really gives a flavour of the day too . I’ve been to two or three of these Steam Fairs in  the Severn Valley near Bewdley  over the years  and enjoyed capturing the faces of the characters as well as the fabulous engines ...

I must confess I didn't realise the interest in the steam age, Clicker.  Some of the steam cars were so well preserved as to be in pristine condition.

They look like they are polished to within an inch of their lives don’t they ......   I imagine they wouldn’t even turn up if  it rained  and there was a chance they would get dirty ...

Very interesting sets Fogey, can't remember that I have ever been there but it looks like a great event to visit. Great selection of subjects.
