Presumably  the Mill  near you ... the water always looks glass like ...no doubt  confirming  why it  the simile  , " As calm as a  millpond " originiated  from the effect of making a reservoir  next to  a mill ( to power the  wheels ) The processing  works too ....

I can see why you love to walk  here.... two cracking  images Denis ...

Don't do yourself down, Denis.  The makers didn't take the photograph, did they?

Exactly Fogey ..... images can so easily look artificial if processing isn’t tempered with what I call ,” soft hands”.  Denis has developed an eye to see as well as look at  what he views through the viewfinder over the last five or six years that I have known him on here....  It’s great to see that retirement  (well .... mostly ) has given you more time hone your skills on a daily basis almost now Denis ... it makes a difference to the learning curve when we experience something every day ....  great to see YouTube  with a camera  so much more now. 👍🏻

Excellently tickled and a very nice composition as well. I remember from the TIPF York meet up, and watching other photographers made you think about what they'd seen that you'd missed. Whenever I see other photographers I do the same.
