Thanks Geoff,

I have started to take photos of things and situations I normally overlook :) It was the background sky and the walkers making their way home in fading light that piqued my interest!

I think now you're retired you've got a bit more time to hone your photography skills, which have probably always been there but lack of time has prevented you from exploiting it to the best. I only bought a DSLR in June 2014 but I've probably taken 300,000+ images since then - granted the vast majority of them have been rubbish but the more you take the more likely you are to come away with some decent shots....
