Just before Lockdown II I managed a trip to Stratford.  The nearest town to where I grew up, and the site of many a pub crawl in my teens and early 20's.

Thanks all, it's a lovely place in the winter, not so many tourists around and theres a few of the pubs that are still quite old and cosy 

Back in the very early 70's I worked in the Riverside Restaurant on the Bancroft as a school holiday job.  There was a great group of all different nationalities working there and we used to go onto the Bancroft in the early hours of the morning having pinched chickens from the restaurant for an early morning feast
