Clever to pick a transparent canvas for this one to peer over out of the frame ...I might  be inclined run a very small  blur tool on about 30% opacity  or less over the lower outline of hoss's mouth... but 't is just my opinion ... 

I really feel like I could stroke him   with this treatment Fogey ... it  gives an almost 3D effect ..
