A new place to visit...

We had blue skies and some sunshine this morning so I cruised off with K&B to investigate a new spot. Well worth it, a lovely, well maintained park area, with picnic tables and heaps of room to walk, and so green Kelly just had to roll in the grass so many times! It's not something the girls are used to.

There is a water reservoir below the hills, as you can see here:

Found my way down to a lookout point and got these, a very tranquil scene

This is the start of the overflow:

And just a little way from there is was roaring down hill, but I couldn't get to anywhere to see the fall - only reservoir management allowed.

Lots of bush areas around with paths, so lots of spots to walk Kelly & Brodie, we will be visiting again.

I am so pleased that you discovered this place Dee, you must miss your old place so much for the freedom of movement within the wild environment ?

Its seems as if you are beginning to find your feet after your major upheaval.....

well done you.

Thanks Fuji & Denis - it was worth the trip to investigate and I will be revisiting.

Spot on Fuji, there are some really nice parks and path walks where I now live, but 99% of the area is only dogs on leash, and I cannot walk both of them on a lead, and they are so used to 'running free' in their 40 acre back yard and the bush areas we had so close to home.

I will continue to explore and find more.
