It’s still impressive regardless of how pedantic the descriptive address is ... ...  some lovely  architecture and stonework  on view here ....

First time I'd been over that side, I did love the architecture ..... slightly shocked by the huge amount it cost us to park though

According to Wikipedia it is. That said I have a vague recollection of reading somewhere that it was a Scottish mile which was somewhat longer than an English mile, so who knows.

Not been to Edinburgh for a good few years now, had my Honeymoon there ......

Not been to Edinborough at all apart from the usual industrial sites! we are hoping to do our Scottish expedition in the Van next spring so may get there then! Great shot as always Jon.

I was hoping to do a motorhome trip this autumn but when I tried to book I found there were none available!  Obviously everyone going to Scotland.

You have to get your own Van...we did!,  just a long wheelbase Renault Trafic conversion (more room than the VW counterpart!)

I had a Rapido Randonneur for a time, but sold it when we moved to Spain. I have contemplated getting another but being in a city its a challenge to find somewhere safe to park it
