Love the pots and spires in the first one David, my first outing was to York as a new member of TIPF when we had Forum days out.

Wish we could have those days back again, would like to visit York for another look around !

I will be in the queue with you when that happens again, Denis.

Love York..... its a City I never tire of.
We are supposed to be there at a concert at the end of November which will no doubt be canceled for the second time but was considering still going... but I guess thats not going to happen now either.

I can recommend the gardens and abbey at the back of the museum if you have never been in them before lots of wildlife thats not afraid of people....the squirrels were happily taking nuts from peoples hands. We only stumbled across it on our last visit.

Yes, we had a bit of time to kill before our riverboat trip and we spent the time in the abbey/gardens area. Glorious.

That's an interesting set David ... I don't know York that well for some reason ... yet I lived just less than an hour away  when I was a 15 -18 years of age ..Not having one's own transport at that age and paying for  Art  College  took precedence I suppose . The rooftop image  looks really great from your vantage point ...It could well be my monitor but I'm tempted to want a bit more contrast on it to make it pop a bit.  but what a great view you caught there .   Maybe when  we get to see Covid 19 in the rear view mirror we can have a day out or weekend  over there  for Forum members who want to meet up ... I'm hoping that's not just wishful thinking eh ....

No, sanity will return and you can count me in for a York Phototrip.
