Is that a moth it has got?

Nice looking bird, and one we have no distant relatives of as far as I can tell, or do we?

Yes it’s a moth, Denis. When I first looked at the photo on the screen camera, I thought its head was deformed but on closer look, it is a moth. It’s a Striated Pardalote, Pardalotus striatus, one of four Pardalotes we have in Australia. Maybe only Australian? They are insect eaters.
