Quite the opposite, Polly. We were supposed to be in Switzerland but Covid saw that idea off. So instead we had a couple of days in Chester, a couple in the Yorkshire Pennines and a couple in York....more shots to come when I get around to it.

 I won't be planning going anywhere til I 'm nearly sure  things are a lot better I'm afraid . I've see too much first hand what this Covid 19   can do ...

Before all this Covid malarkey kicked in we booked a week in the Alps but we were going by train via St Pancras and Strasbourg (also v. photogenic). We have rebooked for next May (fingers crossed all will be well by then). Spring in the mountains is always a good time as the melting snows really swell up the waterfalls.
