I last went there in the early 80's Denis  with the kids and their grandfather .. It was a surprise  treat  for us and took us forever to get there travelling from North Yorkshire ... A smashing part of the world ...Looks like the cooler weather meant there weren't the hordes of people that were down there a few weeks ago...Looks like great surf too ...

It was actually quite busy Polly, we only had a few days there, we came home a tad early as I have two days work again this week..... needs must as the Devil drives eh? I have to top up the pension now Shareen is not working. We are hoping to get to Scotland later in the month if all goes well.

Nice, brings back a lot of memories for me as it was the first place I went on holiday with work friends. It was also memorable because we were camping on a site at the top of the cliffs and on the first night there were horrendous winds which destroyed our tent and we spent the rest of the night in one of the caravans there thanks to a generous holidaymaker
