How lucky are you Paul .... I haven’t seen one in my garden for fifteen years or more... and they were regular visitors before .  Really lovely closeups ...

What a super set of close ups, I really like the first picture the hair detail against the spikes is wonderful. And like Clicker said I have not seen a hedgehog for quite a number of years.

Great capture Paul!

My best friend has two Hedgehogs who sleep in her Hedgehog houses during the daytime, some of you may remember I made one of her houses. They never fail to come out for food every evening,  they feed and drink from dishes right outside her back door.

Great up close photos. I’ve never seen a hedgehog nor have I ever seen close up photos of one. How cute it is.

There are no hedgehogs native to Australia though they are in New Zealand by introduction.

They are delightful animals but can carry many fleas!
