POTW - week ending 30 August 2020

It's my choice for pic of the week (my turn does seem to come around very quickly). I'm an real admirer of the up close world of macro and have chosen Paul's "Balancing Nature" photo of Sword Fly larvae. Paul's photo is very detailed and sharp with brilliant eye- catching colour but what I really like about this photo is the composition'. I love the curving shapes of the lavae  on the leaf.

What a great choice Cheryl ... I often feel  composition is so much harder to get with Macro  but it is possible ...  Well done Paul.... you must have  been  so close  to getting this accolade  a number of times lately with your amazing  macro  images ...so well a well deserved  pat on the back !
