A form of Harness Racing in which the horse is trained to run with the legs on any given side moving together  i.e. left front moves in sync with left rear as opposed withe the diagonally opposite right rear.  Confused? So am I. <sodemoji.1f60a></sodemoji.1f60a>

Nice one John - took me back many years. I was involved in a pacer/trotting stable when I was in High School. There were both types there and I used to go there on my way to school and on my way home. I was able feed, groom and exercise them when I could, and we had a couple of very good horses amongst them My favourite was a black stallion called Scotch Dillon, and we saw him win a pacing cup!

Thanks Polly, Thanks Dee.

Dee, Scotch Dillon's line still exists today.  I found this:

Interesting John thank you, and I found this in a shoebox of old bits and pieces. This was Scottie, who had just come back from a 4 - 5 month break down at a horse retreat, where they could run and eat free and also where siring meeting were organised. I went with Fred to take Scottie down there, and also to bring him back. Great experience and lots of memories!

What a great example of how a photo can trigger  memories like this ... and how amazing that the scrap of a press cutting is still with you after all your moves Dee ... thanks for sharing with us ... brilliant stuff .
