I'm in a Sunday afternoon mood...

Up as usual at around 05:00 I listen to the radio whilst shaving.....this morning BBC Radio 4 ‘ s ....Something Understood....program caught my attention....it was about finding your personal ...Bliss!  A great listen....well worth catching up on.

They play music and songs relevant to the theme.....this was the second one in......I just had to listen again, and will probably buy one of Charlie Landsborough’s albums later today.

I bet Korky is a great fan?

I’m going to be very honest here Kev.....because no matter how I try....and I really do try....I just cannot get this fascination with groups, who appear to me to simply jump up and down making as much noise as possible......rhythm yes !....but nothing pleasant at all.

My tolerance stopped with....Silver Machine......I do listen to that occasionally.

I get the Beatles.....but hardly anything from the Stones and the like..

I love and listen to Katie Melua .... Hiromo. Jazz pianist....Billie Holliday .....and have just rediscovered Johnny Cash....

Please tell me.....what is it that folk get, from the concert you feature above besides coming out very deaf?

I guess we are different FUJI.  

i think something like age is an influence? I was born in 1961 and my musical indoctrination was really from the 1970’s.  

In saying that, I do listen to many different types of music.   

My fathet would say “turn that racket down will you.”

I discovered this amazing Band on YouTube.....they are based in New Orleans.....I can’t get enough of them.....lots if videos available, and their web pages are very informative.
