An observer of life.  Produced some images from viewpoints not often seen today because she used a twin lens Rollieflex with a waist level finder as opposed to the more usual eye level finder on other cameras.  Unsung in her lifetime and only came to light when someone found a huge collection of her work (including undeveloped film I seem to remember) in a garage which led to a biography by John Maloof called "A Photographer Found".  I was lucky enough to find a copy a few years ago on a visit to Salts Mill in Saltaire near Shipley.
