It's a bit different  out on a walk Denis ... on a feeder its pure bribery... and I still have to move really slowly  in the kitchen  and shoot through the double glazing  but I'd never get close outside ...So I doubt I would get decent shot out in the open countryside ...but thanks for the comments. He looked a bit like a circus act swinging on the feeder....

That's a great series Polly.  Interesting - that's the second Woody that I seen attacking a fat ball.  I have a similar (but not as well caught) shot of one in my neighbour's garden doing the exact same thing.

Sorry for the late acknowledgement  fellas .... It seems sometimes  when I reply using my iPad, and submit  it  using the touch screen, it fails to actually respond ...maybe I just don't poke it hard enough ...lol ...

There's a family of them that come and feed now ... yesterday with no camera nearby  and sporting the wrong lens anyway   I looked out the window and saw three sitting in a row on a branch of the  Magnolia tree where I had pruned  some branches that were obscuring  a decent view of birds alighting before  attacking the feeders.. a bit like the  queue outside  the Supermarket !

Typical  innit ... I bet it never happens again ... meanwhile my camera is primed and waiting  just in case !
