Excellent set, love the colours in the second image. Is that a Heron stood on one of the posts on the right-hand side of image 2?

What a super set Strav...... despite the gorgeous skies in #1 and#2,  I really like the sense of distance, perspective and the composition  of #3. The foreground  detail of the spikey sedge grass is vital to the overall sense of distance in this one for me...and my favourite  of the  four....

Thanks all - that's a shag in the second picture @Ryewolf.  If I was being honest with you I'd tell you it was a carved wooden one  

The one in the sea is on the Cooke Straits on the journey from North to South island, the lighthouse is at Nugget Point, almost at the bottom of the southern Island, looking out towards Antarctica
