Aw thanks Van ... Greens are a restful colour and traditionally are used to calm anxiety It is still  often used  in hospitals where  it also acts as a restful break for surgeons being the opposite end of the colour spectrum  to blood red ...Many years ago  surgeons scrubs used to be white  but  were changed to green when it was  ascertained that the contrast contributed to stress in surgeons ...! 

 Hubby  thought  I was  trying to capture the Moorhens and the Mallards on the pond at  the bottom of the garden and when he saw this pic...   grumbling that I didn't get any of the ducks... actually  two of then can just about be discerned  !

I was hoping that a dragonfly that was loitering might have obliged  but ....nah  ...

That’s interesting I never knew that about surgeons scrubs, but It makes sense.

 The Royal Navy didnt take that on board when they painted the gundecks blood red on wooded fighting ships! Apparently it disguised the real blood stains after cannon balls ripped through the hull and the wood splinters ripped through the gun crews!
