'Crossroads' A Normandy Sunset.

Came across this road junction at about quarter to eight at night, no signs, no lights and no one around. A recent shower made the wet roads and the sky stand out...out came the camera again :)

Thanks all,

You do realise this nearly got binned? To me, the hedgerows were too dark, the road reflections looked too....how can I put it...grainy. I only took the shot on the quick as a) My son of 31 said 'Dad, you cant stop dead on a road in France, someone will crash into us!'  no chance of that, there was not a soul around, I didnt have time to choose settings, because as you are aware these skies are there one minute and gone the next.

Methinks I may be a tad too critical of my own photos! :)

As i said, the silhouettes are how it was, grain isn't always bad either, if you ever used high iso film you were stuck with it. Sometimes we try to be too perfect and make images with perfect exposure. For me the reflections on the puddles and the shiny road make it a nice image to look at.
