Brown Goshawk visit.....

Our Brown Goshawk appeared again last night after tea. He always sits just past that post, so I never get to see his full profile, but still very nice to see anyway:

He must live somewhere around our block or close to, but have never found where.

He looks around quite intently John and he watches a wall of the shade house opposite him, which is  covered in evergreen vines. We have had a burst of Sparrows this year, (which we shouldn't have, and I hate them, sorry!), and I think they were nesting in the vines. It is also an area where we get lots of skink activity too.

Have not seen him grab anything on any visit as yet, and don't think he'll be here this evening as we have very strong winds!

Maybe fix something benign to that part of the rail Dee so he has to land a bit further from that post.  A twig or two  that appears natural ....?

Lovely looking birds aren't they...Such big yellow eyes ...that don't miss much !
