Definitely the 1st image for me ... the tones are more balanced for me  and some definition of the lower floors is lost a bit in the  2nd one ... really interestingly observed though ..

I remember this shot being taken as I was standing next to you wondering why a staircase would make a good photo.

I learned a lot that day by observing and re-evaluating what everyone was doing. It opened my eyes a little to what was possible

Good to see a rework of what turned out to be a great photograph.

It was the interesting geometric shapes and reflections in the glass that caught my eye and the changes in the light from the top to bottom of the building.

Ditto for me: prefer the coloured version. It’s interesting to see the building stairs through glass. Reminds me of one of those glass fronted ant nests.
