.... and I'll have a shot at the second one , if you don't mind. It'll be interesting to see what we come up with. You've got the verticals just right, lots of people, like me, get that wrong and have to fiddle in PS to corrct it.

Cheers

And here's mine - as well as a wazz through Topaz Studio 2 it's had some of the little distractions removed (the crane jib etc) and been cropped to something close to a 16:9 format.

Hope you like it, but be sure to shout out if you don't.

how do you like the new lens?  cool shots that nicely show off the lens, though i agree they need a little processing to bring them to their full potential.

I'm pleased with it. I read a few things about it being slow, not good on anything but the sunniest days, but so far I've found it quite useable. Certainly for the price (I think I paid £189) I'm very happy with it. It means I can do more with my camera now, so that's got to be a good thing!

I've a 70 - 200 and I've used it a lot for landscape shots.

Can get some great compression into landscapes with them, and they work very well with the sort of shot when you are looking down and long distance into or across a valley

Korkys edit has really made shot one stand out
