I've twiddled the background a bit for these.  CM, some of the transport is original and some are replicas but you can get the idea of the theme of the place.

You've done well to get those shots without people - I once waited so long for a shot without humans that it started to go dark and Mrs K launched a verbal attack.

It was getting towards closing time Korky and most people were making the long trek back up to the entrance.  We caught the last tram because by then, I was well and truly kn....ed.

The first one for me ... the subtle vignette and  the way the balance of vertical and  horizontal lines from the lampposts, the steps, the brickwork, the shop signs, the pillars, doorways and windows, all contrasting with the diagonals on the vintage truck  make this a a very slick composition that’s really well constructed .  I like it a lot John ....

Terrific photos that are really tempting me to make the trip up there..... are the buildings real John or like movie sets, where they are just facades ?

Completely real Denis.  Even the businesses are equipped with period machinery and some if not all are working.  More images to follow.
