Well ain't this a stinker?  As I see it I can either do a shot of a xylophone ........or I can cheat. And as I can't actually lay my hands on a xylophone at the moment my submission for this week, in anticipation of the big day, is........X is for Xpectation (so sue me).

Hopefully not to spoil any up coming pictures but to help out. I'm surprised no one has gone with the shortened word of the season which is what i thought David's picture was going to be.
The other ideas I had which I had thought of was various models of car start with X, as does a bulb within the headlights of certain cars.

the grandson a few years ago ....

Having checked with my son, it seems we have a Playstation and something called a "Wii", but no X-Box.

The shortened word for the season most definitely crossed my mind but I thought a lot of people would go with that so I allowed myself to be a bit creative with the brief!
