Kaohsiung Harbour, Taiwan

I've been in Kaohsiung this week. The sky was hazy all week so not ideal for landscape photography and getting high enough to capture the beautiful harbour a challenge. I shot this one through the glass of the 40th floor of the hotel.

That's a terrific view, Cheryl.
There are a couple of interesting structures there - the flat one with the hexagons on the roof and the one just across the water that looks similar but then bends upwards.

Thanks Gareth. Good questions and ones I had to look up. Seems both structures are part of the Kaohsiung Pop Music Centre: the taller one is a sound wave tower and the flatter one called the Coral Centre. From what I can gather, performances and recording pop music happens there.
