CREATIVE GLASS

Recommended Posts

I gave this Series the title....Creative Glass...because I am at last getting to grips with my other very quirky DIY lens....A LEICA 2.5 - 90 mm  Slide Projector  lens stuck inside a hollow focusing tube with masking tape, plus the usual M 4/3 adapter.

The lens is about 6 inches long and has an extremely shallow depth of field, so needs to be used creatively, as you can see here.

Targeted sharpening and Contrast Grading on layers helps to build depth and texture.

All except the Rosemary, as seen in the viewfinder, no cropping.

1: ROSEMARY

2: MYSTERY ITEM  can you guess?

3: RED GREEN and WATER DROPS

4: REACHING FOR THE RAIN

Okay - I'll have a guess: is #2 a Malteser that someone has sucked the chocolate off?

A very good guess......but it isn’t a half consumed Malteser.

But well done you for having a go.... it is a completely dried out orange.

I had left in on my conservatory Painting Studio as part of a Still-Life study.....I became fascinated by the way it mummified rather than go mouldy....
