Looks like the issues  have been resolved now folks... sorry for the inconvenience..

Just to let Members know the gremlins in the Dark Mode are back again today and the text is white on white in some areas rendering it  invisible but this issue is being addressed as we speak ... Meanwhile there is a CHANGE MODE button top left under the TIPF logo that can change theme from dark mode to white mode to enable you to still  read it . then back to dark mode if you prefer. Will get back to you all asap. ...

Sorry folks ...looks like some gremlins on the site  again ... we are working to resolve them as soon as possible and will post another post it to let you know when it has been fixed ..... apologies all round ...

I love 'em, too.

Walking with friends near Kidsgrove last weekend they took us past the Harecastle Tunnel on the Trent and Mersey. It's a bit scary.

Here, have a sken...........

Always wanted one but have never managed to justify it.  Same problem as a caravan for me.  I would need to use it constantly justify the investment but there is so much else to see and places to go.  Evocative pic none the less.

I could have easily lived on a Narrow boat or a widebeam, or better, a converted Dutch or Belgian barge if I were younger. I don't suppose it would be too much fun if you were of a very advanced age with possible ill health and no where else to live though, could well be a hard existance to endure methinks.

Another one that I thought I'd replied to, great composition... I always fancied living in a narrowboat - no stairs being an advantage.....
