THERE BE SNAPDRAGONS

I got down to a very small world yesterday by exploring the skull-like seed pods of Snapdragon flowers.

Then I had a great surprise...there was Life in miniature that could hardly be seen by the naked eye.     A baby Woodlouse not more than 4 mm long  and the tiniest snail I've ever seen.

Seeing these, it makes me wonder why I spent well over £300 on a dedicated macro lens for my long-gone SONY ALPHA 77.

These were taken through that tiny DIY rig costing circa £35.

1: and 2: 4 mm long baby Woodlouse

3: 3 mm BABY SNAIL

4:  THE LOVERS

5 LIFE FORM

Those seed heads remind me of pigs too.
