Thank you for Polly!  Your feedback is appreciated.  As I said I have only ever come across this species a couple of times and that has been at the same pool in the Forest of Dean in different summers.

Here is a shot I took in July 2014, the only other time I've seen one.

One thing I have noticed is that this species of Damselfly rests with it's wings out from it's body like Dragonflies, most other species of Damselflies rest with their wings along the length of their body. I am going to check if this always the case and not only with my sightings.
